Prowler steals two shotguns from a car in Richland

A gun may be the worst thing to lose in a car prowl, Police said.

Just this week Richland Police said a prowler broke into a car and stole two shotguns out of it at the Homewood Suites off George Washington Way.

Police remind gun owners--please do not leave your gun in your car, because if stolen, they will end up in the hands of a criminal.

They urge gun owners to keep your gun secured at all times and locked away at home.
