Racist and derogatory graffiti found at Kennewick playground
KENNEWICK, Wash. - Kennewick police are investigating racist and derogatory graffiti found at a Kennewick elementary school playground.
According to Kennewick police the suspects have been using a sharpie to write numerous racial slurs and draw swastikas on the playground equipment.
Kennewick police say it's the fourth incident at Lincoln Elementary school in the last month.
Detectives say that judging from the school surveillance it appears to be four boys between the ages of 12 and 15.
He believes the suspects live nearby and he does not believe it's gang related.
The Kennewick school district is aware of the crime and says maintenance workers have cleaned out the graffiti.
