There have been about ten cases just in the last week alone. Police say they normally see about four per week.
Cases ranged from houses and stores to yards. We talked to one victim who's been struck four times. She hopes her neighborhood will soon turn around for the better.
"I hope that we can come back together as one and watch out for each other like we had in the past -- and my biggest hope is that my son gets his bike back," said theft victim Jennifer Galegar.
Anyone seeing suspicious activity is asked to report it to police.
