Officials tell KEPR they are still very early in discussions. One of the ideas was an entertainment venue. People could stroll and shop. The goal to bring more people to the Tri-Cities.
"We think this area, we think the Tri-Cities has a lot to offer, we want to have the venues that will make people come here and tourism is good," said Richland developer Gary Ballew.
The city is also considering the idea of a boutique hotel across from Anthony's restaurant. Staff say they will meet with council next month.
