Richland pilot died of heart disease

LOS ANGELES -- KEPR learned the pilot found dead in Los Angeles in October passed away from "natural causes." Lee Morris, 55, was found near a freeway off-ramp during a layover while on a three day work trip. The coroner's office tells Action News it was atherosclerotic heart disease, which could include a massive heart attack.

Burbank Police were initially concerned due to the location of his body, but have since closed the case based on results from the coroner.

Morris was a resident of Richland.
