Richland residents will have more room to walk

RICHLAND, WA. - Construction is getting set to begin next month in Richland thanks to a signed petition by residents.

The neighborhood between Williams and Van Giesen will see newly built sidewalks and curbs along Stevens Drive and Mahan Avenue.

The city originally planned to replace old pipes in the area but neighbors asked for the money to be used on sidewalks instead. The million dollar project will take through the fall.
