RPD trying to identify suspect photographed taking $500 in lottery tickets
RICHLAND, Wash. - Police in Richland are trying to identify a suspect who is believed to have stolen $500 worth of lottery tickets.
Richland Police Department (RPD) officials obtained surveillance photos of the suspect taking scratch-off lottery tickets from a Richland convenience store.
She allegedly attempted to cash some of the winning tickets at multiple Kennewick convenience stores near Highway 395 and Kennewick Avenue, according to authorities.
The Lottery Commission flagged the stolen tickets, making them invalid police said.
Reports said the woman's name may be "Amanda" and she has pink hair. The suspect was also spotted in the area of State Route 395 and Clearwater in Kennewick as well as on North 4th Avenue in Pasco near the steam train.
