Scorching temps not affecting local crops

TRI-CITIES, Wash. -- Despite triple digit temps, growers say their crops are holding up well.

To fight off the sun, many growers are using sprinklers to cool off their crops.

Most plants are being watered all day long.

At this time, there is no serious damage to any crops in our area.

Growers say they've battled weather like this before.

They tell us they face a bigger threat from massive summer storms.

Overall, they expect a decent crop.
