Sheriff: Body located at Palouse Falls
FRANKLIN COUNTY, Wash. -- The Franklin County Sheriff, Jim Raymond, just confirmed to Action News that a body has been found at Palouse Falls and crews are responding to the scene.
The popular park has been closed for several days after 26 year-old, Noble Stoneman, fell at the falls last Thursday.
At this point, Franklin County officials presume the body is that of the 26 year-old Pullman man.
Stoneman was hiking with a friend around the rim of the falls when Sheriff Raymond says he slipped, and fell several feet to the base of the falls.
This is the second death at the falls in just three weeks.
This is a developing story and we will update you with more details when we learn more.
