Suspect pleads not guilty in stabbing death of Prosser man
BENTON COUNTY, Wash. -- A man charged with premeditated murder for the death of a Prosser man pleaded not guilty Wednesday in Benton County court. Robert McCorkindale claimed his innocence in the stabbing death of Preston Yahne.
Investigators said McCorkindale stabbed him repeatedly and then ran over him with a car.
McCorkindale is due back in court later this month.
His girlfriend, Laura Bancroft, remains in the Yakima County Jail for her suspected involvement in the murder.
