Suspected car thieves may be responsible for 5 thefts

KENNEWICK POLICE NEWS RELEASE -- CAT detectives located a stolen Honda Accord parked in the parking lot of Kennewick Suites. Detectives contacted the manager of the motel and were able to determine which room the suspects were staying in. Detectives located one of the suspects in the hallway of the motel and the suspect tried to flee. The male was caught, and taken into custody without further incident. The female suspect was located in room #210, and detained without incident.

CAT Detectives linked the two suspects to five stolen Hondas in Kennewick and Seattle. Detectives served a search warrant on room #210 and located methamphetamine, heroin, stolen mail, and shaved car keys. Both suspects are from Seattle, and arrived in town two weeks ago. The male suspect has auto theft history in Seattle. Detectives booked Tompall R. Lorah-Heggen (01/14/79), and Jessica A. Myers (06/24/77) into Benton County Jail for 4 counts of Possession of a Stolen Vehicle. Narcotics charges are pending. Investigation continues.
