Tri-Cities Airport to Make Traveling More Comfortable

Today the Port of Pasco met to talk about three-possible options for a new design and layout of the terminal.

They're looking for more room, food options, and more natural light.

Officials say the effort is to create more comfort for travelers.

"This improvement, again even if it doesn't accommodate more people, it will accommodate more efficiently, more effectively, and more welcoming," said Project Manager Damon Smith.

The Commission will decide on one of the three plans by December first. Work could begin as early as next year.
