Tri-Cities students to compete in NASA contest

PASCO, Wash. -- A group of students from the Tri-Cities area is one of more than 90 teams traveling to Alabama this week to take part in a competition sponsored by NASA.

The team from CBC High School Academy will compete in the NASA Human Exploration Rover Challenge Friday and Saturday. The students will be asked to design and build a lightweight rover that could be used for future space exploration.

Teams from 19 states, Puerto Rico, and four other countries will also take part in the contest.
