Young professionals from Washington River Protection Solutions repainted it all. The Sturgeon Cove playground now has a fresh look.
City of Richland supplied the paint, and volunteers supplied the manpower. Volunteers say they chose the project because of its widespread use by the community.
"This for us is a way to get out in the community and do something that's immediately recognized as a benefit to the community, and especially to the kids," WRPS Instructor Heidi Jones.
