West Richland man killed in 3-car crash

WEST RICHLAND, Wash. -- Troopers say 50-year-old Steven Covert of West Richland was killed Tuesday night on State Route 224 near Kingston Road.

Covert was hit by 33-year-old Natalie Lincoln, also from West Richland at around 8pm. Lincoln over-corrected after a turn.

Lincoln was driving her Taurus eastbound heading over the Van Giesen Bridge when she hit Covert's Grand Am, and also totaled another driver's Subaru Outback.

Three people were injured from the accident including a 15 year old juvenile who was a passenger in Covert's car.

Troopers say they're still investigating the accident and it's unclear whether alcohol or drugs were involved.
