RICHLAND, Was. - It's been notorious for accidents in the past. The money will look at the possibility of removing the light altogether. One alternative would be a "split T" intersection. This would seal off Aaron Drive so it doesn't connect to G-Way. A light would connect with Abbott instead. It would be a whole new light when you exit off 240. Drivers are just happy something is being done.
"I definitely think something needs to be done, I used to live on Abbott Street and it's such a dangerous intersection, it's really hard to get into the turn lane, sometimes I have to come into the WinCo parking lot to turn around," said driver, ShoVonne Burke.
