Young Pasco girl fights for her life against leukemia

Six-year-old Katrina Rose Salas was diagnosed with the disease back in February of this year.

Since then, she has been back and forth to the Seattle Children's Hospital. She is currently staying at the Ronald McDonald House.

Katrina is undergoing chemotherapy treatments daily, has had bone marrow transplants, lumbar punctures, blood and platelet transfusions, along with intense radiation treatments to fight the cancer in her bone marrow.

Currently, Katrina is just over halfway through her 100-day treatment.
