20 related burglaries in Kennewick

KENNEWICK, Wash. -- The KEPR Crime Tracker is continuing to follow an outbreak of burglaries in Kennewick. Police believe there are now 20 related to the same thief or thieves.

They occurred mostly near downtown Kennewick. The burglaries go back to mid-October. There were nine burglaries last weekend alone -- six this past weekend. In a few of the instances, a rock was used to break glass so the crook could get inside. Everything from electronics, to money, to alcohol was taken.

"They kind of had a grab & go, there were some things they didn't take and at least they didn't trash the house so if there's a silver lining somewhere it's kinda just stuff but it's still not a good thing."

Homes and businesses were both targeted. Kennewick Police have made no arrests at this time.
