Flashing light by TRAC Center annoying neighbors

PASCO, Wash. -- We heard your complaints about a new blinking light that's gone in near the TRAC in Pasco.

Some people say the strobe is shining into their windows. Turns out it's a new cell tower added by AT&T.

Folks at the TRAC say the light is for safety and meets code, so it can't be turned off.

"Early morning, it's annoying, there are times when we are entertaining and it is blinking. And you close your blinds to rid yourself of it," says neighbor Maureen Bloomburg.

The pole is not far from the airport, so the light is necessary to show pilots the pole is there.
