Karen Lange reacts to Lukah Chang plea reversal

PENDLETON, Or. -- Now that it's likely a suspected killer will plead guilty to the charges against him, a Pendleton woman says she's moving on.

Karen Lange was beaten while jogging on the Pendleton Riverwalk.

She nearly died.

Police believe Lukah Chang was responsible for Lange's assault and the murder of a Pendleton teenager.

"I don't want to be that kind of a person. I would just like to focus on the good things is my life--and that's not such a good thing, so I tend to just say, it's not up to me what happens from here on," Lange says.

Karen is still recovering from being hit with a pipe in August.

Her final surgery to put a synthetic piece of skull back in her head is set for next month.
