Michael Johnson set for trial in November

BENTON COUNTY, Wash. -- The Kennewick man accused of killing a woman with his car, will now go to trial in November.

Michael Johnson was charged with vehicular homicide. Johnson was going 72 in a 40 when he struck Nina Howard, killing her. The 52-year old woman was not using a crosswalk at the time. But police say, if Johnson had been going the speed limit, Howard would have had time to get out of the way.
