Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Kelley always knew she would rep the purple and gold and become a Husky. She graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle with a B.S. in Atmospheric Sciences as well as a minor in Mathematics. Working mostly behind the scenes with weather data and analysis, it wasn't until she interned with ABC affiliate, KOMO-TV in Seattle, that she would realize her passion to become a broadcast meteorologist.
Throughout college, Kelley boxed for the Huskies and lead as a team captain in her senior year. Her most celebrated memory was winning a bronze medal at Nationals and becoming an All-American in 2014. Among a good workout in the ring, Kelley enjoys mountaineering and climbing. She has already accomplished her goal of reaching the summit of both Rainier and Mt. Baker, and continues to pursue new heights.
As KEPR's morning meteorologist, Kelley is passionate about sharing the forecast and weather updates to the Tri-Cities communities.
