KPD officer hits motorcyclist

KENNEWICK, WA - Washington State Troopers are investigating a crash between a Kennewick Police officer and a motorcycle rider.

According to troopers investigating the accident, the Kennewick officer failed to yield to the motorcyclist in a roundabout at Kellogg Street and 4th Avenue in Kennewick about 8:30 p.m. Thursday.

The motorcyclist was hurt, but was not taken to a hospital.

His leg was injured and he has minor cuts and bruises.

Kennewick Police called in the Washington State Patrol to investigate the crash.
