FRANKLIN COUNTY, Wash. -- A large fire severely damaged seven semi trucks and a trailer at a transportation company late Saturday night.

The fire started just before 10 PM at Harms Pacific Transport on Glade Road.

Crews from Franklin County Fire District 3 worked for several minutes to contain the blaze and keep it from spreading to other nearby vehicles.

According to a report by NewsRadio 610 KONA, no fire hydrants were on scene, and water tenders were used to fight the fire.

Franklin County Fire District 5, Walla Walla County Fire District 5, the City of Pasco, Benton County Fire District 1, Benton County Fire District 2, and Benton County Fire District 4 all responded to the fire with water tenders, each hauling at least 3,000 gallons of water.

Sergeant Paul Hill, with the Franklin County Sheriff's Office, says the fire did not appear to be suspicious. An investigator will be taking a close look at the remnants of the fire to try to determine a cause.
