TRI-CITIES, Wash. -- Taxes are nothing to be afraid of--especially when you have a professional helping you for free.
The AARP Tax Aides want to do just that. They will be posted up around the Tri-Cities this tax season offering free help on your return.
They said they're open to all ages and incomes, and they're all certified volunteers.
"Everybody that comes in is happy it's over with,” District Coordinator Ken Albin said. “It's a necessary evil, as the saying goes, death and taxes--but we try to keep taxes more fun than the other."
If you'd like help with your taxes this year, the volunteers will be at several Tri-Cities locations starting February 2. For places and times, click here.
