According to Kennewick Police, a car crashed into a home late Monday night leaving a huge whole in the wall.

Chad Wilcox lives on South Gum Street in Kennewick and he told Action News this isn’t the first time a car has come barreling down the road towards his home.

Wilcox was sitting in his living room on the couch when the car crashed into the wall, first hitting a chair and then pushing him and the couch across the room.

He said he isn’t even scared because this is an event that is far too familiar for Wilcox.

“I don’t get scared anymore it’s mostly anger because someone hit something,” said Wilcox.

He explained that he rode the couch about a foot and a half before it stopped.

“This impacted my furniture and shot out the side of my house,” said Wilcox.

Kennewick Police say the driver fled the scene of the accident and they have been able to identify a suspect but nobody has been arrested.

Wilcox said there is nothing he can do about people crashing into his home, but he wants drivers to stop ignoring stop signs, get off their phones, and keep both eyes on the road.
