Concerned citizen's call leads to kidnapping arrest
Pasco, WA — Police arrested a man for an alleged kidnapping in Pasco near 18th St. and Court St. Sunday afternoon.
Pasco Police responded to a call from a concerned community member stating they watched a man grab and pull woman in to a minivan. Police say the concerned community member told police it didn't look like the woman wanted to get in the car.
The caller followed the minivan until police were able to find it.
Officials tell Action News that when officers pulled the minivan over, the woman, visibly upset, got out and ran. Police say they were able to track her down and confirm that she was taken against her will.
Police tell Action News that there were two men in the minivan.
The passenger in the backseat was released.
Police arrested the driver and booked him in Franklin County Jail.
