Crime Stoppers, KPD ask for public assistance in search of a theft suspect

KENNEWICK, Wash. - Police are looking for a wanted suspect who did not show up for a drug court appearance.

Reports said 24-year-old Colt Lane Maurer was originally charged with stealing a vehicle, second degree burglary, vehicle theft and attempt to elude.

After Maurer did not show up for his court appearance, the Kennewick Police Department (KPD) has been looking for the suspect.

KPD reports say Maurer is 6'2, 165 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. Maurer sometimes has a beard.

The suspect has tattoos including a dream catcher on his left arm and "Maurer" on his right calf.
