RICHLAND, Wash.-- One man is lucky to be alive after being stabbed multiple times on Tuesday morning.
According to Richland police, the 19-year-old victim was found by friends on the 300-block of Craighill, near the Richland park.
Authorities say friends of the victim brought him to Kadlec Regional Medical Center just before 3 a.m.
Sgt. Drew Florence says the man is in serious but stable condition after being stabbed repeatedly.
He says they've made one arrest already but declined to share the name or a motive because they're still conducting interviews.
"Whenever these investigations happen, they take time to put together. We're in that process right now, trying to glean as much information as we can so we can put what happened back-together. It's like a puzzle, you get a bunch of different pieces and you've got to put it back together," Florence explained.
The sergeant says officers believe two men and possibly a woman were involved in the disturbance, and they'll release more information as the investigation continues.
