This morning, a family in Richland woke up to a troubling sight. All five of their Halloween inflatables had been slashed in the night.
The five inflatables were slashed around 9:00 PM on Sunday in what the family says is a normally peaceful and quiet neighborhood. Their grandmother says that the kids will be devastated.
"They come out here and they play around them, they hug on them, they hide between them," said Laura Navarro. "Every night they go to bed early just so that they can shut the lights off and their pumpkins and everything on."
The collection took a few years to accumulate, but Navarro is hoping to be able to at least get one inflatable back up in time for Halloween.
