KENNEWICK, Wash. - Veterans and active military members will have the chance to enjoy a free lunch at Texas Roadhouse in Kennewick.
The restaurant announced every location across the country will serve a free meal on Veterans Day to all veterans, including active, retired, or former U.S. military, for the eighth year.
Organizers said recipients can choose one of 10 entrees from the restaurant's special Veterans Day menu, including a 6-ounce sirloin and two made-from-scratch sides plus a choice of drink.
Proof of service includes military or VA card, or discharge papers, according to a press release.
Those interested in grabbing the free lunch can stop by the Texas Roadhouse at 845 N. Columbia Center Blvd from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
