Kennewick police arrest porch pirate suspect
KENNEWICK, Wash. - Police say a woman caught on camera stealing a Kennewick woman's Christmas gifts from her porch has been arrested.
Officers with the Kennewick Police Department (KPD) said someone provided information through Crime Stoppers Friday morning regarding 25-year-old Rachel Schlosser.
Schlosser was wanted by local police on four arrest warrants, in addition to being suspected in the package thefts.
Police said Schlosser was alleged to be staying at a hotel. The suspect was found and arrested Friday.
Action News spoke with the woman who had her packages taken. She said her packages were stolen three hours after they were left on her porch.
Kennewick police posted the woman's surveillance video photo and through tips they were able to identify Schlosser as a suspect.
Schlosser has been taken to Benton County Jail, according to KPD officials.
