Kennewick Wash. — The Kennewick Police Department is investigating, after a shooting left a man injured Saturday evening.
Kennewick Police say that just before 9:00 pm, officers were dispatched to the 5,900 block of West 25th Avenue for a weapons complaint, several callers said someone was shot in the area.
We're told upon arrival, officers found a man with a gunshot to his "lower extremities", and immediately performed medical aid on him until Kennewick Paramedics arrived.
Kennewick Police say the victim was then transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say the suspect fled the area before officers arrived.
