KENNEWICK, Wash. — A Kennewick restaurant had to close for business for a couple days due to a shortage of available employees.
Foodies is a restaurant with locations in both Kennewick and Richland. Normally both locations are open six days a week serving food and drinks.
However, on July 16 the company announced on Facebook that only their Richland location would be open for the following couple days.
The restaurants were shorthanded on staff and only had enough workers for one location.
This caused the Kennewick location to sit with no customers in the seats and "now hiring" signs on the door.
More places throughout the Tri-Cities area are also short on employees and are trying to fill open positions.
