KEPR anchor Eliana Sheriff wins 4th annual Dancing with the Tri-City Stars contest
RICHLAND, Wash. —
The fourth annual Dancing with the Tri-City Stars crowned a winner Saturday night and she's a very familiar face.
KEPR news anchor Eliana Sheriff won the contest by five votes. The event was held at Chief Joseph Middle School in Richland.
This year's theme was television shows, so Sheriff and her partner danced the Viennese waltz to the show “Game of Thrones” theme music.
Terral Russell, who danced the polka with his partner to the theme from “Gilligan’s Island,” came in second.
The other contestants included Vicki Haines (“Flintstones”), Rich Breshears (“Baywatch”), Eldon Monson (“Star Trek”), and Jhoanna Jones (“Orange Is the New Black”).
Sheriff says the charity she chose to dance for was the Benton-Franklin Humane Society.
