Police looking for surveillance footage after drive-by shooting Tuesday morning

KENNEWICK, Wash. — Police said they're still investigating a drive-by shooting in that happened early Tuesday morning.

Sgt. Aaron Clem said KPD responded to Reed St. and 4th Ave. around 2:30 a.m. after neighbors heard gunshots and called 911.

Witnesses told police they heard three gunshots fired from a vehicle at a black Audi parked along the road.

Kesean Slack said it happened in front of his house to his family's car, and showed Action News a stray bullet he said he heard hit the house.

"I just heard, 'boom boom boom', I thought it was someone throwing eggs or something," Slack said. "I didn't know it was gunshots, and then they were like, 'yeah, it's gunshots,' and I was like 'What is going on?'"

Sgt. Clem said they're asking neighbors with security cameras on their home to contact them.

He said this is an ongoing investigation and camera or no, if you saw something they'd like to hear from you.
