KPD: Local couple wakes up to find a 17-year-old teen standing at the foot of their bed

KENNEWICK, Wash.

Some homeowners are shaken up this morning, after they woke up to find a 17-year-old boy in their bedroom.

The couple woke up just after 1 AM to a confused boy standing at the foot of their bed.

The startled homeowners kept calm and spoke with the teen, who appeared confused.

Kennewick Police arrived and detained the teen.

The teen said that he was trying to meet up with a friend, who he met online, and thought this was the correct location.
