KENNEWICK, Wash. — Former Washington governor candidate Loren Culp is coming back to the Tri-Cities on Friday for an Ignite the Right Freedom Rally.
The rally will be hosted at the Clover Island Inn.
From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. the rally will feature two speakers, Loren Culp and 2022 congressional candidate Wadi Yakhour, who previously served as a presidential appointee under the Trump Administration.
Action News caught up with Culp and he says the goal of the rally is to "fire up" conservative voters.
"Conservative people lost a lot of hope in this last election with the outcome but there is hope there is another election around the corner and we got a plan to make it work for conservatives to get people out of office that don't represent our ideals and the founding documents," Culp said.
Culp tells Action News he will make a "historical announcement" at the rally. When asked about the announcement Culp talked about his support for former President Trump.
"He drained the swamp to a level to where we could see a lot of the swamp creatures that weren't visible for a while and there's some of them that need to be taken out of office and so I have a big announcement Friday," Culp said.
In addition to the guest speakers, Nashville recording artist Dakota Poorman and the band Common Ground will perform.
The rally is free and open for all ages.
