Police impound pickup suspected in possible Kennewick hit and run

KENNEWICK, Wash. - Kennewick police say they now have a pickup truck that may have been involved in a possible hit and run which left a 17-year-old seriously injured.

Authorities have confirmed with Action News they have a impounded a Ford F150, the suspected vehicle that struck Kyle Marboe while the teen was in his family's driveway playing basketball on the night of Sept. 5.

Police said the truck was discovered in Kennewick.

Action News has learned Kyle is in satisfactory condition at Harborview Medical Center after the crash left him with injuries to his head and internal organs, including a collapsed lung.

The Washington State Patrol is investigating with the help of Kennewick police. Investigators are conducting tests to determine if the impounded pickup was involved in this incident.

Police say at this time, no suspects are in custody for this case.
