Mid-Columbians try their luck at Mega Million record jackpot
TRI-CITIES, Wash. – The Mega Millions fever has hit the Mid-Columbia. And plenty of folks bought tickets trying to win the record jackpot of $1 billion.
One man even spent 200 bucks on tickets. He said he better win or he might not make his rent this month.

The record jackpot keeps growing because no one has won since July.
The odds of winning aren’t good--they're about one in 302 million.
If no one wins the Friday night drawing, the jackpot will bump up to $1.6 billion.
