TRI-CITIES, Wash. -- Washington State Patrol Troopers responded to dozens of crashes as a heavy burst of snow struck the region Friday morning.

Dispatchers with WSP tell Action News that Troopers responded to over 30 crashes Friday morning.

Troopers responded to cars sliding off the roads, collisions and rollover accidents.

Crashes were reported on 395, I-182, I-82 and SR 240 within minutes of one another.

Luckily, no one was injured in most of the crashes Friday morning.

Medics did respond to a few minor injury collisions however.

Troopers report that in most cases, drivers were driving too fast for the deteriorating conditions.

More snow is expected to pound the Tri-Cities region over the weekend.

Officials are asking people to stay home.

If you must drive, please exercise caution.
