KENNEWICK, Wash. - Local students who are visually impaired brought their skills and abilities to the Desert Hills Middle School track for the Northwest Association for Blind Athletes.

The program brought a Paralympic experience for students who are blind or visually impaired with the mission to provide life-changing opportunities through physical activities and sports.

The program is designed to give all students the same equal access to outdoor activities, teaching them basic fundamentals, such as tandem biking and goal ball.
