NWS: Beware of blowing snow; dangerous conditions


    TRI-CITIES, Wash. -- Experts at the National Weather Service are warning drivers about the likelihood of blowing and drifting snow on Saturday.

    Strong winds are expected throughout South-Central Washington.

    Winds will blow snow causing poor visibility and road closures.

    Drivers who plan to travel need to use caution or limit drive times.

    The following interstates and highways will be impacted: I-84, I-82, I-90, US 97 and US 395.

    The NWS believes that road closures are likely.

    Drifting snow could make roads impassable.

    These dangerous conditions will likely last all day Saturday and into Saturday night.
