Pasco Fire Department is now equipped with infrared camera and ready for rescue
PASCO, Wash. - The Pasco Fire Department, is equipped and ready for rescue with a new special camera.
From night vision to low visibility, the infrared camera will now help spot victims in danger quicker.
During clean-up efforts, the Flir camera, will also be able to capture hazardous conditions such as oil spills.
The equipment cost around $9,000 dollars and is made possible thanks to a donation from the Andeavor foundation.
Fire leaders say the new camera will help make our community a safer place to live.
