BENTON COUNTY, Wash. -- We have an update on a story we've been following for 10 years regarding a Pasco couple who had their children removed by the state after child abuse claims.

Six months ago, Pasco parents Boris and Olga Shved got their children back on a probation basis and now they say their family situation is permanent. The Shved's say they received the news today in a Benton County Courtroom.

The parents say after all the adversity they've faced, and only being able to Skype with their kids in Minnesota, they thought they may never see their children in person again. They can't believe this day is finally here.

"Our kids are happy and they understand that we are their parents," Boris explained. "There isn't going to be anybody else in our lives anymore. It's only going to be me, Olga, and our kids."
