PASCO, Wash. - A Pasco police officer is charged with raping and sexually assaulting a teen girl.

Reports said Anthony James Haworth, 38, sexually assaulted the girl on multiple occasions from the ages of 14 to 19 at the home of 5804 Taft Drive in Pasco.

The victim said touching happened while Haworth was off-duty from his job as Pasco police officer and part of the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task force.

The victim also stated that she found a hole in her bedroom wall next to the attic above the garage when she was 15 years old. After covering it with a poster, it is reported that Haworth asked her to remove it so that he could remember to fix the hole.

According to authorities, Haworth and the victim drank alcohol together while the teen's mother was away and Haworth later assaulted her as she was intoxicated.

The victim also stated Haworth took naked photos of her during these incidents.

Reports said the Pasco police officer attempted to kiss and touch a childhood friend of the victim.

Detectives performed a search warrant on the Pasco home and took electronics for the investigation. Detectives also discovered the hole the victim reported in the bedroom wall.

Haworth was interviewed and denied the accusations and reports said he refused to take a polygraph.

Upon searching Haworth's electronics, several nude photos of the victim which he claimed he did not know how the images wound up on his phone.

Detectives searched his iPhone backup to find messages between the victim's friend and the victim regarding Haworth trying to kiss the friend according to reports.

Franklin County Superior Court is charging Haworth with rape, indecent liberties, first degree incest and voyeurism.

Authorities say Haworth has been placed on paid administrative leave with the Pasco Police Department.
