Police arrest Kennewick man accused of child rape
RICHLAND, Wash. - Police say a Kennewick man has been arrested on charges of child rape.
According to Richland police reports, 20-year-old Michael T. Denniston was arrested Thursday around 8 p.m. for one count of first degree rape of a child, and one count of third degree rape of a child.
Police said his arrest stemmed from alleged sexual contact with two girls.
Denniston has been booked into Benton County Jail on a 72-hour hold, the Richland Police Department (RPD) says.
Police are asking anyone with additional information on the case to contact the RPD Criminal Investigations Division. The case number is #18-16496.
