PASCO, Wash.-- A man is now behind bars after a police chase in Pasco.

Just after midnight Pasco Police say a dark colored SUV was driving recklessly near Road 68 and Wrigley Drive.

Police say the driver, Ford Dickenson, 32, failed to stop and continued to elude police.

After a short police chase, Dickenson tried to drive his SUV through a dense field near Burden Road and Convention.

The SUV got stuck in the brush and police were able to arrest Dickenson.

Pasco Police say the SUV's engine was still hot causing the surrounding brush to catch flame.

The car became fully engulfed in flames and Pasco Fire Department responded to put out the fire.

Police say no one was injured and the car was a total loss.

Dickenson was arrested for a felony warrant, eluding police, and a suspended license.
