Police seek to identify person suspected in a gift card scam
KENNEWICK, Wash. - Kennewick police are trying to identify a person suspected of using gift cards acquired in a scam.
Police said a 78-year-old victim was in Baton Rouge, LA when some gift card numbers they provided were used at a Kennewick business on June 14.
Authorities say this scam convinces victims they owe money and the victim then provides gift card numbers to scammers.
The pictured subject is suspected of using the gift cards.
