KENNEWICK, Wash. - More than a dozen people at a Kennewick apartment complex have found hundreds of dollars worth of damage to their cars.
Action News spoke with the victims at Copper Ridge Apartments who said they found tires slashed to several of their cars, Friday morning.
Kennewick police said they took reports from at least 14 people who had at least one or multiple tires slashed and flattened.
Baltazar Chavez said tires of his girlfriend's truck were slashed and said he heard from several other victims.
"Well my girlfriend is going to have to get new tires and that kind of sucks but we have insurance. I don't know how it's going to affect the other people. That's kind of bad for them," Chavez said.
Police said the apartment complex has security camera but did not capture any video of the crimes.
Investigators say the vandalism appears to be random with no specific target.
